CP Designs Christmas Continued

I've been sharing this month the cards I've made
using the new Winterhaven SOA.

You can't get it now (it is sold out) but you can get
products from past SOA collections in the CP Designs Store.

You can get the Candy Cane Lane SOA products and the
Holiday Magic SOA products too for you holiday card making.

Here's a card I made recently with the Candy Cane Lane set for the
Online Card Classes Merry Making Class.

Day 1 homework part 2 #occmerrymaking
I only have basic embossing powders,
so metallic candy canes it is...also couldn't find any vellum (studio is a HUGE mess!)

Click HERE  for a blog post of cards made with the Holdiay Magic SOA.

Both collections are awesome.

Now as promised last week...my favorite cards made so far with the Winterhaven SOA.

These were also made as part of the #occmerrymaking class.
They feature distress oxide inks and distress paints as a resist.
I just love, love, love how they turned out.

I'm sure there will be more to come from this SOA as I've barely used the
plethora of goodies in the box.

Stay tuned.

More Winterhaven SOA Cards

I told you last week that I loved SOA and CP Designs
well I just kept creating with the new Winterhaven Collection.

I'm not a huge poinsettia fan, but I really like this set.
I just love the greenery and with the CP Designs inks the greens
and blues make it pop.

These cards are stamped using Rocking Red, Grass Skirt,
Fiesta Blue and Lime Rickey and Midnight Black.

I used scored several lines on my card stock
and then stamped over it using CP Designs Inks from the Party Collection.

Next week I'll share my favorite card I've made with this SOA so far.

It's a CP Designs Kind of Christmas

Are you a fan of Catherine Pooler Designs?

Me, I'm slightly addicted.
I got to know Catherine, first on YouTube then
I became a StampNation member and when she opened
CP Designs...well, let's just say my stamping hasn't been the same.

I faithfully watch with great anticipation for each new Stamp of Approval Collection.

The last of which was Winterhaven.

So when it arrived I got busy and made just a few holiday cards.
Now you know me, I'm a technique driven, clean and simple kind of cardmaker.
I like cards that are easy to create but pack a punch and I think these cards do that.

These cards all feature Ranger Distress Oxide Inks.
The first three include "stamping" with a stencils and water or perfect pearls mist and
a Brutus Monroe Embossing Powder embossed sentiment from the Winterhaven SOA.

This next card was my first attempt at a galaxy background using Distress Oxide Inks.
Stamps are from the Winterhaven SOA and are embossed with Brutus Monroe Alabaster EP.

Then I got out the Delicata Inks and the amazing background stamp from the Winterhaven SOA.

Let's just say I might have gotten carried away.

In case you haven't figured it out yet...I'm in LOVE with this stamp!
I used it, some dark navy, black and white cardstocks and Delicata Silver, Gold and Black Shimmer inks and to finish them off some Nuvo Drops.

I used the Joy Wreath die set for the first few and
stacked several die cuts on top of each other for dimension.

The rest have the Merry Christmas sentiment heat embossed using Brutus Monroe and Ranger embossing powders in metallic colors or stamped in Versa Fine Onyx Black and clear ep.

Seriously, these pics don't do them justice.
They shimmer and sparkle and
they were so simple to make.

Stop back next week for more SOA holiday fun.
