Great Time

That's Mike.  Isn't he just a cutie?  And don't you love the Circle scarves?
I had a great time at a swarm in Lansing, MI this weekend.  I got to meet a ton of great ladies from the Cricut Msg Board and Circle Board.  We all had a wonderful time.  A huge thank you gos out to Dawn (NurseViper) and Janice (TheScrapbookGirl) and all the others who helped organize it.

Oh, and Mike from Provo Craft was there and showed us the new Craft Room that is coming out soon.  Can't wait!

Me and Taylor, my oldest daughter at the crop.

Taylor's Pages
My daughter, Taylor, and I got lots done.  We got 18 two-page layouts done for two baby gift albums that we need for new family additions that are on their way.  Not all the pages have all the embellishments on them yet, but I will post pics as soon as I get them on.

Taylor also got a few pages done for her book.  I'm so proud of her. She is becoming quite the scrapbooker. Now if I could just get her to pay for her own supplies...hahahaha.

My Top 10 & a GIVEAWAY!

I thought it would be fun to do a post on my top 10 favorite scrappy products, so here it goes.

10. Zig two way glue -- I just love it, so versatile.

9. Crop-a-dile Big Chomp -- This makes setting brads, eyelets, snaps,
 etc so easy.

8. Copic Markers -- I don't use them as much as I should considering how much they cost (although I've never paid full price for any), but I really like them and the effect you get when using them.

7. Embossing folders -- Not picking a brand because I love them all and have amassed quite the collection.

6.  Tape Runners -- I personally have a Glue Glider Pro and like it, but if I had to do it again I would get an ATG gun since you can get the refills so much cheaper.

5. Printed paper -- Again this is something that I have a 20 year supply of and never seem to stop buying.

4.  Good quality card stock -- I love Bazzill (but hate the price), but one of my favorites is the Co'ordinations card stock that is sand-able (instant texture).

3. My deck of Club Scrap idea deck of cards -- this gives me a jump start when I have a brain fart and just can't seem to get started on a layout.

2. Gypsy --Couldn't craft without it.

1. CRICUT and all his wonderful carts and all the stuff that goes with it. --Ok, seriously who didn't see that one coming!

Now it's your turn.  Tell me your TOP 3 scrappy products and why in a comment and I'll pick a random winner for a Cricut cartridge giveaway.  You'll have your choice from three that I have duplicates of (BNIP).

Family version

I saw a family plaque similar to this one on a blog and thought I had tagged it so I could refer to it, but for the life of me I can't find it.  So to whomever created the one I scraplifted from, THANKS!  I loved it enough to make my own.  ***EDITED*** I found it! Thanks to Denise Hill from for the inspiration.  Mine isn't nearly as fancy as Denise's but I'm liking the way it turned out.

I know that the "O" is crooked but it got stuck to the weeding so I had to re-cut it and it didn't get put down straight.  I currently just have a piece of white cardstock behind it because I can't decide what to use behind it.

My formula: Black Viynl, an $8 frame from Walmart, transfer paper.

So I haven't gotten any crafting done in the past month, but I am working on a couple of projects for Scrap Happy and will post them as soon as they are finished.

I wanted to say a huge THANK YOU to all those who sent hugs and thoughts and prayers for my family during our loss of my father-in-law.  They are very much appreciated.

I hope you all had a very Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year!
