| A layout about me and my good friend Jenna and our adventures stopping along the road at various "oddities" on the way home from one of our schools. Jenna no longer works for Lifetouch and it makes me sad not to see her everyday, but oh the memories we have are wild. |

| This was the only day in 2014 that we made it to the lake to swim. Summer 2014 wasn't exactly warm enough for swimming on a regular basis, but we found a day when it was above 80 degrees and a few of the family could get away to one of our wonderful state parks and hit the water. Well it looks like we are having so much fun, doesn't it? We are when these pics were taken by me, but then we headed for home and realized that we were all horribly burned. I was sick for days and had 2nd degree burns over most of my body. My poor niece Loagan had 2nd and 3rd degree burns and had to be taken to the hospital. And before you start shouting at me to use sunscreen...WE DID! We applied sunscreen every 1/2 hour the entire time we were there (which was only about 4 1/2 hours) what we didn't know is the sunscreen we had just bought that morning was expired. So word of caution~~~ CHECK THE DATES!!! |
