LOAD215 Update

Here are my layouts for the last week.

A layout about me and my good friend Jenna and our adventures stopping along the
road at various "oddities" on the way home from one of our schools.
Jenna no longer works for Lifetouch and it makes me sad not
to see her everyday, but oh the memories we have are wild.

This was the only day in 2014 that we made it to the lake to swim.  Summer 2014 wasn't
exactly warm enough for swimming on a regular basis, but we found a day when it was
above 80 degrees and a few of the family could get away to one of our wonderful
state parks and hit the water. Well it looks like we are having so much fun, doesn't it? We are when
these pics were taken by me, but then we headed for home and realized that we were all
horribly burned. I was sick for days and had 2nd degree burns over most of my body.  My poor
niece Loagan had 2nd and 3rd degree burns and had to be taken to the hospital.
And before you start shouting at me to use sunscreen...WE DID! We applied sunscreen every
1/2 hour the entire time we were there (which was only about 4 1/2 hours) what we didn't know is the
sunscreen we had just bought that morning was expired. So word of caution~~~ CHECK THE DATES!!!

This is a recap page of Christmas 2013.  Can't believe my girls are all grown up.

This is a two page spread of a scrapbooking getaway

weekend with my BFF.

Work party layout.

This one is filled with old pictures, but aren't those kiddos cute!

Two page layout of my
Lifetouch TS Territory Photography Crew from 2012.
Only a couple of these people are still with that office.
Some have moved on to other jobs and some, like me,
have changed to other territories with the company.

Tuesday Technique = One layer cards

I know I said there wouldn't be any Tuesday Technique or Friday Challenge posts this month, but I had to share these cards with you.  I also didn't complete my GOC homework for this week. I'm behind. What's new!  So let's get inky today for our Tuesday Technique and maybe by next week I'll have something good to report on the GOC.

I made a bunch of one layer cards with just distress ink, a little spray mist, a couple of stamps and some cardstock bases.

So, what do you think? I think they turned out pretty nice. I especially like the ones with the black trim and yes they are one layer cards.  I just masked off the color and added the black ink.  I used Stampin' Up white embossing powder for the sentiments and flowers on the bottom set of cards.

So go and get inky!

LOAD 215 Update

Well it's been a crazy week and most of my pages were digital layouts that I could throw together in a few minutes, but that's OK!

So here they are, hopefully you'll find a little inspiration.
Another cruise page. This one is the afternoon spent at the
 Mayan Ruins in Cozumel, Mexico

A page for our beloved Sierra.  She is a Daddy's girl for sure.

Two page spread of my "Other" Dad.   I really like how it turned out.

The final page to Rachel's 13th birthday party pages.

Page I created for Valentine's of Hubby & I.

Another cruise page.  This is the girls and I exploring Key West.

That's all for today.  Check in next week for more on this adventure for LOAD215.
