A Year of Card Techniques July Blog Hop

It's month seven of our year long adventure
into different card-making techniques, folds and paper crafting products.
We hope you got the chance to hop with us each month.

It's not to late to hop and comment to be entered into our prize drawing.
If you missed any of the previous months,
you can click on the month to be taken directly to the start of that month's hop.
January       February  March     April     May  June

This month we are playing with watercoloring and
you won't want to miss the amazing and fun cards we've got for you today.
 We really love feedback,
so please leave a comment on each of the blogs in today's hop.
Each comment on the 12 hops throughout the year will be
entered into a drawing for a $25 Blitsy.com or Stampin' Up gift certificate
(Winner's Choice).

Now on with the projects.

I started by stamping the swirls from a set by The Stamps of Life.
I used my MISTI and stamped them on Ranger pre-cut watercolor paper.
I used Versa Mark and Brutus Monroe Embossing Powders in Alabaster, Penny and Sterling.  The sentiments are a CAS-ual Fridays set.

Each one is made using a different watercolor product and technique.
This one is made using Ranger Distress Inks in Peacock Feathers and Twisted Citron using the ink smooshing technique.  There's a touch of pink in it from my fingers being colored from the other cards.

I used my Gansai Tambi Watercolors for this one.
I used a wet on wet technique and then spritzed with water.

For this last one, I used Brusho Crystal Colours.

I'd love to know which one is your favorite.
Leave me a comment and let me know.

Happy Crafting
Theresa

  4. Theresa, I am a huge fan of the way you demonstrated your cards. You used one stamp and created three totally unique looks. This is such great inspiration...especially so for those just getting started without the funds to get lots of stamps! Isn't it amazing how different card looks? Thanks so much for another great hop!
