A Year of Card Techniques October Blog Hop

It's month ten of our year long adventure 

into different card-making techniques, folds and paper crafting products.  
We hope you got the chance to hop with us each month.

Now on with the projects!

I started with fall leaves and got creative with the colors I used as the overlay.

I used Ranger Distress Inks for the coloring and Ranger Gold Embossing Powder and Brutus Monroe Gilded and Silver powders too for a few of the leaves. 

I really like how the layering looks. 

For this next one I used blues and greens for the base layer and brown over the top.

I then used a silver over the top of all of it and burnished it.

I used the same silver ink and clear embossing powder to create the strip on the side 

and for the sentiment.

For the last card I used only red for the base layer and brown for the top. 

For the sentiments, I repeatedly stamped it with Versa Mark and then used burnished gold 

Perfect Pearls powder over it. 

I really like playing with this technique and hope you'll give it a try!
