Did you grow up in the 1970's?  Me too.
I've got some great memories and I thought I'd create a few digital layouts that document those memories.

I created a double page spread for the toys that I remember playing with.

That got me thinking about Saturday morning cartoons. So I had to create a 2 page layout for those memories too.

When I print these out, I'll make these two just 8x8 size prints so that I can drop them onto 12x12 card stock with a couple of diecuts that I have of Scooby Doo and some journaling. Scooby Doo was my favorite cartoon character because we had Great Danes dogs. I also loved The Jetsons too because they had a GD too.

Of course creating pages about cartoons got me thinking about the TV shows that were must sees. That lead me to this two page layout.

I hope you've had fun strolling down memory lane with me. Next up is Amanda.

Here's the entire blog line up in case you get lost along the way.

  2. what a stroll! you are jogging my 70's memories! I had that tree house! I want it back!! I must admit, I STILL have my spirograph, just moved it from the game pile to my craft room. My son is a teen and we are getting rid of a bunch of his childhood toys which include a lightbright! I was very glad some of those good old toys are still around, like etch a sketch, too! I must admit one of guilty pleasures is collecting old "little people", I have many homes and buildings including a couple of Sesame Street ones! They are not expensive, in fact cheaper than the new version. Thanks for sharing and taking me back to my childhood!

Oh, I cried during the last episode of MASH!
