I'm so honored to be participating in today's hop.
Michelle is such a wonderful inspiration to all of us to "check the girls" each month.
Ladies, if you aren't checking on a regular basis, you may not catch a problem
before it's to big to fix.
CHECK THE GIRLS MONTHLY!
Click HERE for the proper way to do it.
Now on with the projects.
I used my Zig Clean Color Real Brush Markers to color part of a piece of Ranger Watercolor Paper.
I then cut out the CAS-ual Fridays Hope Fri-die from the Calling All Sistahs line several times.
I used Ranger Multi-Matte Medium to apply them to another piece of cardstock then used
MFT pink to stamp the sentiment. I gave the entire piece a spritz or two of Perfect Pearls Mist then diecut with the scallop frame die from the Young At Heart Stamp of Approval collection.
I used MFT's pink ink and Perfect Pearls Mist to create a watercolor background
on Ranger Watercolor Paper. I then used Versa Mark and Brutus Monroe Alabaster Embossing Powder to stamp and heat set the ribbon and sentiment from the Calling All Sistahs line of stamps.
I used Brutus Monroe Alabaster Embossing Powder and Versa Mark ink to stamp the ribbon and sentiment from the Calling All Sistahs line of stamps by CAS-ual Fridays.
I then used a Spectrum Noir Alcohol Marker to color the back of the vellum behind the ribbon.
Added a piece of pink paper from my stash (sorry don't know the brand), folded over the vellum and attached it to the back of the card base.
Unfortunately, we all know someone who has been touched by the big C word.
Whether it's breast or ovarian, lung or some other type,
they all have one thing in common, it can happen to anyone.
So why not do everything in your power to catch it early and fight like a girl!
Your next stop on the hop is the amazing Alanna Moses.
If you didn't start at the beginning, don't worry you can always stop
back at CAS-ual Fridays Stamps blog.
BTW, I'm giving away a little hope today (literally).
Michelle was kind enough to send me this
hope Fri-die to give away to one lucky hopper.
So be sure to leave some love in the form of comments along the way today
and I'll choose one lucky winner to receive this die and one of the cards I made for today's hop.
Happy Crafting
Theresa
