National Scrapbook Day!
Some info on National Scrapbooking Day:
Each year on the first Saturday in May, it is National Scrapbook Day.
Also known as National Scrapbooking Day, on this day thousands of people get together all over the country to celebrate with scrapbooking parties and share their talents with others.
Scrapbooking dates back to the 15th century.
As per Wikipedia: “Scrapbooking is a method for preserving personal and family history in the form of a scrapbook. Typical memorabilia include photographs, printed media, and artwork. Scrapbook albums are often decorated and frequently contain extensive journaling. Scrapbooking is a widely practiced pastime in the United States.”
Scrapbooking is a hobby of preserving memories and at the same time it provides a strong social network.
”Scrappers”, as they are called, get together and scrapbook at each others homes, local scrapbook stores, scrapbooking conventions, retreat centers and have even gone on cruises. Together they share tips and ideas and enjoy the social outlet.
Scrapbookers are often referred to as "Paper Hoarders".

AWESOME LAYOUTS???
Let's get to hopping!!!
I decided to share a 3-page layout today. Now these aren't new photos by any means. My girls are now 19 and 20, so these pictures are from a few years ago, but I'll never be caught up with scrapbooking so you never know what age the girls will be when I finally get around to scrapbooking their pics. LOL
This layout group is from their Girl Scout Father/Daughter Dance in 2004. Daddy wasTaylor's "date," our oldest daughter and our sweet friend, Emilio went as Rachel's "date."
Since I professional photographer and was working in a studio at the time, they stopped by on their way to the dance and I did a photo session with them. They loved it. Daddy not so much. :)
Thanks for stopping by!
Hope you are enjoying NSD and the hop.
Happy Crafting
Theresa
